CTMH Australasian Blog - Hello Darlin'

We're nearly at the end of this month, so many of you will no doubt already have at least one pack of the Hello Darlin papers, and other bits and pieces from the range. When I first saw it in the catalogue, it came across as quite a bold red, white and blue combo. We had the Kings coronation still ahead of us at that time, but unfortunately I didn't end up with any photos that would use the paper. However.....I now have very little of the paper pack left, due to finding so many things that were suited to this colour scheme. I've also really enjoyed the digital artwork with this set. Hello, and welcome to our 'Silhouettes’ Australasian 'Blog Hop'. Please join in by following the link at the bottom of this blog. As you may have guessed from the title, todays blog is all about Silhouettes. The definition of a silhouette is:  the dark shape and outline of someone or something visible in restricted light against a brighter b ackground. The first thing that comes to mind is a sunset or sunrise, as you look into the bright sun. When I use the camera in these situations, I've found that it's good to have a clearly discernible shape as a silhouette. For example, a person standing still can come out as a bit of a dark blob, but if you get them to do a star jump, the shape it creates has far more interest in the resulting photo.  Another tip - if the person you're photographing has their ...
