This month is National Scrapbooking Month, and I'm sure you've already seen some great creations that people have shared online.
CTMH kicked off the buildup with 5 workshop kits initially - 2 designed for scrapbooking, 2 designed for card making and 1 for an album. But when May came around the sixth release was available. It's called the Dream maker, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the bundle.
The bundle includes a gorgeous paper pack of designer papers with a sticker sheet, a pack of co-ordinating cardstock (plain on one side, but a beautiful marbled pattern on the other), a stencil with 4 different designs, a sheet of die-cuts, and 2 stamps.
Each component is available separately, but I had no resistance, and went for the bundle, which also meant a discount of 20% - what's not to like?
Does anyone else have a tendency to store papers they love, saving them for something unknown in the future, because they're almost too nice to cut? If you do....watch out, because this is one of those packs!
However, I have found a couple of uses so far, that I can share with you today. I'd like to show you how versatile this pack is.....as background paper, more prominent paper and as the main feature in some cards.
First up, as a background paper, the coordinating cardstock worked perfectly for a layout I did to celebrate my Mums 87th birthday. I know I've stamped 86 on the page, but afterwards I realised it was actually 87, so I still have to correct that!
I think the marble effect of the coordinating cardstock works well in the background here.

Secondly, as a main paper, I used a couple of the designer papers in this layout to showcase the silvereyes that flock to our garden when we put the oranges out.
The sketch for this layout was designed by Jennifer Edwardson Creative inc., and was the May sketch challenge for 'Creative Scrapbooker Magazine' - a Facebook group that shares some wonderful sketch challenges each month. If you're looking for inspiration, check them out.
Next up, I have the card making project to share with you.
I am fortunate to be a member of the CDT membership, run by some very talented CTMH ladies. This also is a Facebook group but there is a monthly subscription to this one. I've been a member for a few months now, and the ideas and inspiration I've got so far has been amazing! So many helpful tips and design ideas.
This month, our challenge was to pick a sheet of paper, and make cards from a 'one sheet wonder' recipe shared by the group. I chose one of the papers from the Dream Maker, and ended up with 7 cards in a bout half an hour! I have yet to add some embellishments, but I intend to do that as I use them. The paper is so adaptable, the cards could suit a whole range of different people, so I'll use the embellishments to personalise them as I use them.
It's a bit hard to see the glacier colour of the ink in the photos, but the stamp I've used is the round Happy Birthday one, which fitted perfectly inside the circle thin cut.
I've also used the stencil in some artwork, and the stamps in other projects, so I could literally go on for hours about how much I love this whole set. Here's a couple of photos just to show those other components.

Really great projects, but the silvereyes page is stunning.
